Setting my Goals |
Goals are good to have, right? They keep you motivated and focused. I was never really much of a goal setter, but we'll try.
Perhaps this is too soon, but I would like to return to the National Circuit by my birthday on 2010. Coincidentally, NAC F, lands on my birthday. It would be more than a year since I had my injury, so I think it will give me ample time to rehab and train. I was planning it to stage my return on the NAC I injured myself, but I think that is too soon. We will see how I feel.
I know it would probably be wise to retire from the National Circuit, but that little competitive voice in the back of my head just won't shut up. But I think I know how to harness it- it will drive me an motivate me to continue with my rehab, my exercises and my aspirations. But I've always been stubborn like that.
Actually, I'm quite grateful for this injury. I cannot say enough how it has put my life in perspective. Of course, I could of done my best to prevent this from happening. Now, I will definitely put some effort to make sure this doesn't happen again.
